Per KHSAA scoreboard. WOW! Is this score correct? I thought Grant County would be more competitive. Any details?

Hannah Dossett hit 5 three pointers in the first quarter as Gallatin scored the game's first 27 points.

27 to 0 run to start the game. Wow

Sounds like Gallatin's perimeter game was on tonight. Rebounded well from the loss to Owen. If Gallatin can hit the 3's, they will be tough, if not, then they will struggle. You live and die by the 3 and it sounds like they lived tonight. Gallatin must have done a good job defending Hearn. I would have thought she would have dominated inside. Congrats on a convincing win.

Something odd there. Hearn only had 4 points. Was she in early foul trouble or get injured or something. Anybody who was there, please elaborate.

No foul trouble that I recall.

Gallatin did an excellent job pressuring the guards into turnovers before they could feed the post. They executed some junk defenses to perfection. She is a very good coach.

Do not recall Gallatin employing any chaser defenses or anything like that.

I meant things like match up zones, half court jumps, or full court zones. Very little straight man or straight zone.

Gotcha.

Surprised by the margin in this one.

I was more surprised at the 27-0 start.
