It's now just three days away until this huge first round matchup between these two teams. This game will be played @ Jackson on Monday. Once agian, I don't like to make predictions on Jackson/Breathitt Co. teams but like to read what everyone else thinks.

Lee County by 4. Home court advantage is huge in this one. If it were a semifinal or final game I might feel differently.

This game is at Jackson City. Play hard Tigers!!!!

i believe if its played at Jackson City they will win because they have one of the best home cout advantages i have seen this year

I've heard that this gym only seats about 250 or 300 people. Will this hold all the fans that will attend this game??? I've been to the gym & its set up like an elementary gym. teams on one side & only one tier of bleachers.

 

I dont know if one of the biggest games in the All A should be held in a gym of this size?? IMO there will be hundreds of fans turned away at the door. It will remind me of the regional tourny in Hazard!!

I would have to go with Jackson City by 8. Jackson City always brings there 'A' game when facing Lee. The past couple of games, Lee has begun the first half slow. :sleep: They usually turn it on in the second half. It will be a tough game. A great game to watch.

Looks like Breathitt's gym is dark that night. Why don't Jackson City use it? They'd make a ton of cash and a lot more people could enjoy the game.

That would make more sense to use Breathitts gym. They would have alot more green floatin around in their pocket, plus Breathitt would let them use it now Im guessing, since the contract has been settled.

Just to let everyone know, I went to Jackson to purchase some tickets and spoke to the principal there. First let me say that he is truly one of the nicest and sincerest people I have met. He let me know that while they were pre-selling some tickets, it was not a large amount, but enough to permit the Jackson City's players' families and the faculty to attend. (He sent Lee Co.'s coach an allottment of tickets to do the same). Also they are holding back 350 (at the minimum) to sell at the door. He said that for some reason a couple of radio stations have reported that they are already sold out and he went on to assure me that this was not true. I hope this alleviates any concern.

 

As to why they are playing at Jackson City; an offical told me that the game had to be played at one game or the other and as JC has already played Lee at home it is only fair this game be held at JC. I agree.

 

Anyway, just thought I'd share what I knew and would like to wish both teams the best of luck. And would like to once again send my thanks and gratitude to the Jackson City principal and school officials for being so polite and understanding.
