Shoud be a great game for the first week of the season. Who will NCC have guarding Hatton? That will be a tough match up for them.

Most athletic 2 or 3 would guard him with the idea that you're going to funnel him to help. No way I let Brandon beat my team. I am making the other 4 produce.

Clyde, I'll look for you. Always good to see you at the games. I'll probably sit on the Dixie side.

 

As far as who guards Hatton, agree that whoever it is you guard him with shadowed help for sure. Brandon will get his points because he is that good of a player but I would not let him go off for 30+. Make rest of team step up and make shots if they are going to beat you this year.

I think this will be a pretty good game.

 

Dixie's youth is inexperienced but very talented.

 

Newcath on the other hand has a lot of experience but might not be as deep as Dixie.

 

Coach Chevy told me they won't press this year unless they have to, so I think Newcath will have the advantage of this primarily being a half court game. Expect a lot of zone from Dixie to make up for their lack of size inside.

 

Newcath wins if they knock down shots but I'd be a little surprised if the margin is more than 10.

Pressing NCC is what you have to do and if they wont press them well then NCC will have a field day in the half court set.
