Actually our Fall All-Stars will run for all sports Jan. 14 (don't ask, I don't even know).

 

Also, the Associated Press I don't believe is having an All-State team this year either.

Why no AP All State team? Ohio had theirs out yesterday.

To the best of my knowledge AP hired a new person in Kentucky only recently and not sure they were up to speed on it or not. We reached out to AP numerous times to ask if and when we needed to nominate players and vote and were told, "in a few weeks we will hoepfully have information for you," and here we are three days before finals and nothing.

It was a bit of a mess last year. They allow you to nominate 12 players from your area and not every area of the state took part, hence some worthy players weren't nominated and thus left off the list and didn't get voted for (I think Ryan Timmons was one of them).

If there is no AP all state team, could we consider the rosters for the Best of The Bluegrass game as the all state team? I would think that's about as close as your gonna get.

Courier Journal All State Team comes out usually around xmas time.. Thats more accurrate because more than seniors being considered unluck Best of the Bluegrass.

Medrad already pointed that out. But in case you didn't read it, ill repeat. Yes the best of the bluegrass team is all seniors. But the majority of the time so is the all state team

If OLinemen Elliot Rust -NCC, Devin Roenker - NHS and Cole Mosier -WVHS aren't on the first or second team then its going straight to the shredder. Elliot Rust -NCC should be 1st team DT also. Best defensive lineman I have seen this year.
