I wouldn't be dogging RP's attention to college football when you just assumed that a team with a top 15 average computer ranking has no top 50 wins. I don't think that's even possible. For the record, the best win so far is Cincinnati, which is indeed a consensus top 50 team.
November 6, 201213 yr K-State is coming off a two touchdown win over a ranked opponent where their star quarterback was knocked out of the game. Do you really want to go there after ND needed a complete collapse from Pitt to pull a win out at home? The Big 12 is garbage when it comes to defense. ND rallied against Pitt a week after a huge road win. It was a letdown game. It happens. They also have 2 road wins against teams ranked in the Top 10. You are saying that they should be ranked as the 14th team in the country. I'm presenting to reasons why. A. They are neck and neck w/ KSt. so either both are way overrated, or you undervalue Louisville. B. Louisville is undefeated, yes, but has played nobody so far this year.
November 6, 201213 yr With what ND just did, you're better served to enjoy and move on...there's hardly a national reporter that would embrace ND over UL right now......find one for me. That's this week. What about last week after they beat OU? You can't go on present opinion of many national reporters. They are as fickle as it comes. The body of work is in ND's favor. As I said before, there are only 2 teams that are heads and shoulders above the rest. After that you can take the next 10 teams and shuffle them around. I like NDs chances against all of them, Pitt game notwithstanding.
November 6, 201213 yr While I would normally agree that LSU hasn't had QB play...but 298 against 'Bama changes that. That's a very good game for sure. Do you feel that he would do that next week, efficiency wise (I realize that LSU doesn't need him to throw for 250+ every week?) LSU has the same weakness that ND does. That game would be, under normal circumstances, a defensive struggle. Every once in awhile, Golson and Mettenberger show glimpses of what they will be in 2 years.

So Louisville clinging on to an OT win against UC is what led you yo believe that UL should be neck and neck with ND??? Where is your logic?
