Incognito Posted January 17, 2006 Posted January 17, 2006 What is the outlook for the Musketeers next season?
Goliath Posted January 17, 2006 Posted January 17, 2006 I'd say they will improve alot from their 1 win season last year. This is their coaches's second year under the helm and they have a strong junior to be class coming up. They did graduate alot of key players like Bradley,Riley and Garrad (among others). Hopefully they'll turn it around in Greenup this year.
Svhick0 Posted January 18, 2006 Posted January 18, 2006 If he can keep the team together and focused, they should compete in their district. Their freshman squad last season and this season were both tough.
Incognito Posted January 18, 2006 Author Posted January 18, 2006 What is the outlook for the upcoming season?
Tomcats7 Posted January 18, 2006 Posted January 18, 2006 The outlook for their upcoming season might be pretty good. They were very young last year, if im not mistaking there OL were all sophmores?? They have a pretty decent QB coming back as a sophmore Eric Craft, he will more then likely be at that spot. Also, Derrick Beach, a real fast man, he might do something next year.. But as far as the class of 09 coming up to be sophmores, isnt NEARLY as much as talent as the class in front of them. Im going to predict the Musketeers have a pretty decent season with a record of 6-4.

JC Alumni 76 Posted January 18, 2006 Posted January 18, 2006 From listening to the starting line-ups that Greenup Co announced when they played JC at home sounds like they return pretty much all their starters. Greenup showed flashes of a solid team this year. Overall i think this will be a season in which the Muskateers gain some more vaulable experience and then make a run at the playoffs in the 07 season but not this year. I can see them winning 1 maybe 2 district games this upcoming season.
Dad of a DAWG Posted January 19, 2006 Posted January 19, 2006 Lawrence Co. played Greenup in the last game of the regular season and I was impressed with them they started all most all freshman and sophmore and to be truthful about it I think they should have won that game LC was pitiful in that game .So I think GC will do just fine next year at lest I haven't heard of any of thier kids leaveing to go and play for another school !!!!
FBALL Posted January 19, 2006 Posted January 19, 2006 Look for Greenup Co to struggle next season. Still very young and not much depth.
Jeepman Posted January 26, 2006 Posted January 26, 2006 I hope that Greenup improves. They have some good kids and I would like to see them do well. Maybe an upset over Ashland.
tcat25 Posted January 27, 2006 Posted January 27, 2006 I dont know about them beating Ashland at Ashland but i think they will be much improved from last season. They do return some talent, and have a year of experience in their new system. Im expecting maybe 5-5 or 4-6, but who knows what can happen.
Tall Trees Posted January 27, 2006 Posted January 27, 2006 Look for Greenup Co to struggle next season. Still very young and not much depth. I agree. They have got a long way to go.
tcat25 Posted January 27, 2006 Posted January 27, 2006 Well their coach brought a Wing offense from Portsmouth West, but midway through the year they ran a little wishbone and mixed it with a litte I Back and some Wing.
Goliath Posted January 27, 2006 Posted January 27, 2006 What offense are they running? Dobule wing and occasionly some power I and wishbone formations, a big change for a team, that the year before was air it out all night.
