Agree mostly...PT beat one of Tenn. better teams and is back on track for now. Central pulled out a close one in Larue which is much approved.Well see about Bell.....I think Harlan might just knock them off this year. But for now looks about right.

9-0. Bath County 7-2, Madison Southern (6-3), Garrard County (5-4), Owen County (5-4). Just because they've played teams with 5-4 or under records doesn't mean that they aren't good teams those teams just have played a tremendous schedule. Bourbon has scored 439 total points while only giving up 120.

1. Throw out the win over Madison Southern because Damien Harris didn't play that game.

 

2. Defeated Bath County on a goalline stand in double overtime. If Bourbon is top 5, then Bath is #6.

 

3. Struggled mightily all night against Garrard before getting a big stop late in the 4th quarter and then throwing up two window-dressing touchdowns to make the margin look better.

 

4. If your 4th best win is over a middling 2A club, then you haven't beaten much.

 

 

NOW...I do think Bourbon County is a very nice football team. They could potentially make a strong postseason run. But, much like Garrard County last season, it will probably take some bigger scalps and a deeper playoff run to truly show what type of team Bourbon County has.
