It appears from the Listserv that East Ridge is dropping out of district play for the upcoming two seasons. Earlier this morning East Ridge posted four open dates, followed quickly by Sheldon Clark and Lawrence County (district opponents) posting "just came open" dates. Can anyone shed any light on the reasoning behind this decision?

I can name several other programs across the state, in every class that need to do the same thing for 2-3 years and I think the benefits would be unreal.

 

Ask the folks in Lawrence County what dropping out of district play in the late 80's and 90 did for their program.

Maybe all the teams going Independent the next 2 years can play each other, kinda in a make shift district senerio, just for kids.

If it wasnt for the fact that I deal with most of the schools in that area now, I would agree with you Clyde. Its just different down there, lol.

At the courthouse, they have the American flag, the state flag and a whole bunch of red flags.
