October 16, 201214 yr Why? In the NFL do they make the teams go through the waiver process to sign free agents? This isn't the NFL it's fantasy football. Guys will just sit by their computer like nerds for 12 hours on Sunday waiting for someone to get hurt and snatch up the backup off the FA list. It gives the teams that sucks a fighting chance as well.
October 16, 201214 yr I'm not sure I'd like a league without a waiver wire, and I say that being ranked first and second in my two leagues. So I don't really get a great benefit from the waiver wire since I'm at the bottom unless I reach for someone.

Most guys sit on their couch watching football most of the day on Sunday anyways.
October 17, 201214 yr Author My money league that I run is first come first serve waivers with 2 IR spots. 20 people broken up into 2 ten team conferences BGP style. The whole league loves our waiver process. You can pick up and drop players at anytime. It's awesome.
October 18, 201214 yr Pick 1: Kyle Rudolph vs. Arizona Fred Davis @ NY Giants Rudolph Mike Goodson vs. Jacksonville or Mark Ingram vs. Tampa Bay Ingram
October 18, 201214 yr Picked up Darryl Richardson on a whim...be nice if they slowly work him in more and more and give me some even nicer depth at RB. I did pick up Hassleback. So now I'm going to debate myself until Sunday morning lol.
October 18, 201214 yr And the bolded is different from what most guys do anyway on Sundays how? Most guys sit on their couch watching football most of the day on Sunday anyways. You sit by watching your scores not checking every single game for injuries for someone to pick off the wire.
October 18, 201214 yr Author You sit by watching your scores not checking every single game for injuries for someone to pick off the wire. Yeah but watching a game and seeing someone like Kevin Ogletree go off and pick him up immediately instead of waiting 3 days until after the game is over. You still have to make a decision to drop someone and then he dominoes start. Love it.
October 18, 201214 yr Author Still debating with Cobb over Antonio Brown and Mike Williams. Leaning Cobb.

October 18, 201214 yr Author Drop someone who is already on your bench and likely sucks anyway. That's what happens but normally in a 10 team league even the bench guys don't always suck. I love the domino effect of it all. Our waivers see a lot of action.
October 18, 201214 yr Going against Marshawn Lynch, Russell Wilson, and Sidney Rice in my two leagues combined, so basically opening for a dominate performance from teh 49ers defense tonight!
