Wider than 6A with Trinity?

 

Yes. I think that St X is closer to Trinity than anybody in 5A is Bowling Green.

There may be a couple of teams from the other side of the playoff bracket that think differently.

 

Obviously Cooper, Conner, South Oldham, Franklin County, Anderson County, Harlan County, et al have good teams. But I suspect the 5A final will have a score similar to last year's 55-3 Bowling Green rout.

On a different note, I have been impressed lately at the success of ALL the teams in Warren Co. It's pretty amazing to me that one county (albeit a large one) can have every team be competitive. If Allen Co, Franklin Simpson and Glasgow were up to par this would be an outstanding year for football in South Central Ky...
