I think NCC while not having the kind of record they are used to will really impress people come 2A playoff time. As far as Owensboro Catholic is concerned I suspect they are not as good as they have been the last 2 years but might be good enough to reach a title game.

Not sure what your question is........................I think OC is not as good as they were the past two seasons but good enough to reach a title game. Do not think they will win it though.

Offense not as good, defense a whole lot better, you arm chair QB's might be a little surprised when or if you get to see their front 4.....

Bottom line ... Owensboro Catholic has beaten a good 4A team in Owensboro, one that has beaten two ranked teams in Lafayette and Lone Oak. I would say that puts the Aces in the conversation in 2A.

Different topic, but, Mayfield wouldn't have hung with FC in 09. You're right, most years Mayfield would be in the mix, but not in 07, 08 and 09. FC was a machine in that span.

 

Mayfield would have been right there w/ Ft. Campbell in '07 and '08. I don't know about '09. FT.Campbell was good, but they weren't head and shoulders above the state in those first two years.
