October 3, 201214 yr In this election cycle we are just a.....Fly Over State.... And a drive by state.....my kids got to wave at his motorcade while the school was in lockdown until he passed.
October 3, 201214 yr Until a national Democrat has a chance in hell of winning KY we won't see a Presidential candidate here. Just the nature of the beast. And even then, KY is just not an important state when it comes to electoral college votes, which KY has only 8. I can't remember when any president actually stopped in NKY for an event, or even to get out and talk to people. Ohio is more important, they have a very busy schedule and very little time, heck they have no time what so ever, they simply can't stop everywhere.
October 3, 201214 yr Bothers me what he does to traffic when he is here. Hey Old Guy - don't think the Bishop would like a Pro- Choice Prez stopping in at Cov. Cath. ( and please don't start a women's rights thread here - just a little poke at the Old Guy)
October 4, 201214 yr When Kentucky wakes up and starts supporting the President I'll have him stop by! :ylsuper:
October 4, 201214 yr I wish I had the time and talent to look this up but in the four years of being our President and running for President how many times has he flown into CVG? And not one visit or stop in NKy? Couldn't the President just for the sake of trying to reach out to us in Ky, have had that meeting last year at the Devo Park looking down at the BS instead of up to it in Cincinnati? Link Talk about a great photo opt! Was that park named after the Musical group ?
October 7, 201214 yr I'd prefer if both of them just stayed away. It screws up traffic whenever either comes to town.
