Good information, AT41. I wouldn't bet on Ashland losing out too early when tournament time arrives. McDavid has been playing since, I believe, the eighth grade. How many years did Thomas play?

 

Nice to see that you have some faith in my Tomcats. Yes, Drew has been playing since the 8th grade. Matt has also been playing since the 8th grade. Im sure Matt will be right up there around #1 or #2 by the time its all said and done. He probably has a better chance to end up #1, because I think his contributions in 8th and 9th grade were a little more significant than Drew at that age. But I would be they will both end up #1 and #2.

It would be nice to see Matt Thomas end up as Ashland's top all time scorer. Of course, his personal total will be somewhat higher than his "just Ashland" total since he scored a number of points as a seventh grader at Rose Hill. I know that fact is still as sore point with Ashlanders but everyone at Rose Hill is proud of Matt and all continue to root for his personal success.

I'm not certain where you get your information from, scooterbob, but the people that wear maroon and sit in the stands at Ashland games have a very warm spot in their heart for Matt Thomas. I couldn't care less where he gets (got) his points - I hope he ends up with 3,000.

 

As much as anyone on this site, I appreciate your constant, unending digs at Ashland, your ceaseless shots at anything maroon, and the inability to admit that not all people from Ashland harbour a grudge against Rose Hill.

 

After four years of whining and acting like the offended party of the first part, the cheese is starting to grow mold.

 

During the time that I have been posting on this site, you have managed to alienate people from Boyd, Ashland, Russell, etc.

 

At some point, the good people at Rose Hill are going to ask you to stop speaking on their behalf.

 

I'm begging you - stop acting like a kid that quit maturing in the eighth grad and just GIVE IT A BREAK....

I have to agree. The Ashland/RH feud from a few years ago is water under the bridge for 99% of people on both sides of the issue. No Ashland fans that Im aware of still talk about that past issue, or hold a grudge. No Ashland fans on BGP ever bring up the Mayo era at RH. I dont group the current players and team in with the former players and people who ran the program a few years ago. When I think back to that time I have pretty fond memories; it was exciting, and created some great games and great memories for both sides. Im pretty sure that everyone has moved on.
