September 29, 201213 yr I appreciate the chart. Where did you get that? I would like to see their poll results 1-2 months out, but this time of the 2010 election, not McCain/Obama. It came from Pollster's 2012 recap. I can't really find anything that has available aggregate data for the 2010 elections, but I found a few polls from a few months out of the 2010 election: The latest ABC News/Washington Post poll has the Republicans leading 53 percent to 40 percent on the generic ballot test, the largest lead either party has produced since 1981. The NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll has the GOP up 49 percent to 40 percent among registered voters. Pollster Scott Rasmussen's latest national telephone survey has 48 percent of likely voters siding with the GOP in the upcoming congressional election versus just 36 percent who are opting to stick with the Democrats. Probably the best I can come up with without going race by race.
September 30, 201213 yr Fox had some interviews this morning that are saying the reason the polls are not as accurate in this year's race is centered around the "likely" voter. The Republican voter that is polled is much more likely to vote than the Democrat voter. This was not the case in the 2008 election. In addition, they reported that absentee ballots are down by 50 to 70% in most states. I'm just going to wait for the post debate results and see how things change. I believe Romney will be in a lot better shape in Ohio, Florida and other states, than what some think.
September 30, 201213 yr I will and you keep grasping that Rasmussen straw.:thumb: Has nothing to do with it. Next....?
