Wow, what a game, both teams represented themselves well, hard hits, enthusiasm, two heavyweights slugging it out. BW won tonight, but I can tell you that CC has a darn good freshmen team, IMO they are going to be a force in 6A for the next several years. I dont know the kids names, but #14 the QB was better than advertised...a legit 6'5" kid who has a cannon for an arm, and #44 the middle line backer was making plays all over the field. A number of other kids for CC played extremely well, those are just the two that stood out. Great game, both teams should be proud of their effort.

 

Agree about future of CC with 14 at the helm. Really ran that offense well. At the end of the day the speed sweeps by Stringer were just too much to stop. I will say one thing, with combs sealing the edge and slusher blocking outside and combined with Ethans speed and vision, that play is a weapon.

Thanks, I look forward to following their progress over the next 4 years, on another note, CC looked to have about 50+ kids on their sideline, glad to see the ammount of participation from the freshmen level. I'll say it again, CC is going to be hell on wheels for the foreseeable future.

They just flat out did not show up to play. I think dixie has an average team but no reason CC shouldn't have beat them. Just my opinion.

You have to remember that these are 14-15 year old kids and many are not mature enough as yet to get themselves hyped up for each and every game that they play. Probably plays a big factor in CC's play against Dixie and B-Wood's play last night in the first half.
