Walton is coming off a bye week and Carroll off a 30-8 loss vs Bellevue. I like Walton of course but they need to come out and play better than they did against Lloyd.

Walton-Verona 28-22.

Hopefully the Bearcats used the bye week to heal up & regroup mentally. A couple tough lessons early in the season, learn from it and move forward. Based on scores and records, I'd say the district is wide open in a four team race. Friday's winner is in good shape, the loser is on the outside looking in. I say Walton in a close one.
