Jim, serious question: Were those instances of kids circumventing the system? Or blatant approval by the association knowing he kid moved without parents?

Personally, I think the current administration prefers to rule kids eligible versus ending up in court. I would like to see them open it up and let kids play where they want with no transfers once the season starts. The America I studied about in school was a place of freedom of choice. I don't see why a family can't simply say sports is important to us and we are willing to drive 45 miles every day for my child to have the best experience they can have in high school. We can go to the grocery, bank, church, etc wherever we want regardless of where we live; why not school. The current system penalizes the schools that try to follow the rules

I doubt the KHSAA knows too much about it. Everything seems to be on a "wink wink" sort of system here. When there's four high schools within five miles of each other, there's no moving going on.

So, they must lie on the application. I agree that it happens alot. However, do the Canadian kids that transferred say their families moved too? I really am not being argumentative. I understand that people manipulate the rules to no end. My only issue is that they aren't foreign exchange students, so where they livin'? Where are the families/households? And where are the parents?
