First let me say that I love Hanigan. The pitchers obviously love him. He calls a great game, and is as solid defensively as anybody not named Molina. That said, if Dusty is gone after this year does anybody see the new manager using Meso and Hanigan the same way Dusty does?

I imagine Meso will be the starting catcher for the Reds in the near future. It's a good problem to have though, 2 quality catchers, but Meso has the makings of a really good offensive catcher.

I'd say yes given certain pitchers preference to each. I don't have a problem with the way he has used them.Over the next 2 years I hope Meso is good enough to start getting the majority of the starts.
