July 6, 201214 yr I heard a debate on Cowherd recently about whether the NCAA should be involved in this issue. One argument was that they should not due to it being a criminal issue. The other side said that the coverup was done strictly to keep the football team at a high level of success so, yes, the NCAA should be involved. Thoughts?

Were they saying the NCAA should not hand out any kind of punishment because it was a criminal issue? Is that what they meant by not getting involved? If so, I couldn't disagree more.

July 6, 201214 yr Because Penn State represents the NCAA and/or participates in the NCAA. And it's unbecoming of an NCAA participant to cover up a child sex scandal within their athletic department.
