Obviously winner is the Hornets. They got AD and Rivers whose game is much better suited for NBA than College IMO. They now have Gordon, Rivers, and AD. Pretty solid start to the rebuilding process. They also have Miller which is cool for a UK fan but I doubt he has much impact.

 

One of the losers was Sullinger. It's never a good thing when the team comes out and says he may or may not need back surgery soon. IF he comes back healthy the Celtics might have gotten a steal. He won't be anything special but he could be a solid player for them down the road.

 

Another loser is Houston, they made all these trades to get a million draft picks and they failed miserable get Howard which was the point of it all. They took 2 guys who play the same position and they already have 2 guys on their roster at that position.

 

 

OKC is a winner in my book as well. They got one of the most talented players in the draft. It was a great spot for them to take a guy like PJ3 and a perfect spot for him to come into.

Some people might says the Bobcats are winner for getting MKG and I agree he will be a great pro but it's going to take time. He's not a good fit for that team right now IMO.

I believe that D. Miller and D. Lamb both came out winners, considering the teams that drafted them and their opportunity to make the roster.

I can see that. which makes a lot of sense. I just fear people will be expecting way to much out of MKG especially on the offensive side of the ball.

I disagree big time. He is with 2 of the biggest guns in the league. Ellis and Jennings. Good luck getting the ball out of their hands.

Making a roster and getting up a bunch of shots are 2 different things.

I thought Indy should have taken the home town guy of Teague instead of Plumlee or PJ3.

Losers clearly are any freshman that came back that were projected lottery last year. Barnes, PJ3, T. Jones, and Sullinger. Next biggest set of losers are coaches at major D1 programs unless the 2 year rule is adopted. There is no way a coach should advise a kid to come back for any reason if he's projected top 20.

Winner: UK draft cache. 14 picks in 3 seasons (15 if you count Kanter). That is insane.
