What does Somerset need to do to improve in 2012? What do they need to keep doing to be successful? Remember, please be constructive.

-Jumpers should be much more balanced this year on offense.

-Tyson Williams Sr. LB/TE from McCreary County has transferred and is supposed to be a key player this coming season.

-I think this team could be similar to a couple of years ago when there wasn't one go to guy but about 6 or 7 go to guys. I'll admit that since my little Jumper graduated a couple a years ago I'm not as up to date on how things are going.

-Jumpers had a "Down" year playing a much tougher schedule and went 9-5 last year finishing as a state semi-finalist. Pretty good for a "Down" year!

Schedule includes:

Danville, Middlesboro and Lex Christian in district

Breathitt, Hazard, Perry County and Whitley Co at home

Glasgow on the road

Southwestern in Ray Correll Bowl at SHS

I agree the Jumpers will be quicker, have more dept and have a better team than last year. The Def. will be a very good unit. The Off will be able to run more efficent and be more consistant. Good Luck to Tyson Williams and his new School.

How long has it been since Danville has defeated Somerset?

2006 was last time I found a Score with Danville winning.

That should be right. Corbin replaced Danville on Somerset's schedule in 2007 and 2008. Danville and Somerset have played yearly again since 2009, including twice last year with the Jumpers winning all 4 games.
