June 26, 201214 yr Author Our chairs suck. I have been thinking about buying my own for a while now. I have guys people in my office who have these exercise ball chairs...and they ALL say they've worked wonders for their backs and for their posture in general. It miiiiight be my next move.

June 26, 201214 yr My boss is a FREAK for ergonomic chairs. I sit in a Herman Miller Aeron Chair (I'll dare you to look up the pricetag on that one, plantman...). For all the money they spent on the chair 4 or 5 years ago, and all of the positional tweaks and adjustments you can make on it, I HATE it...and after about 2 months of a sore back...I'm ordering a new chair. I'm honestly thinking I'm gonna get one of the kneeling posture chairs. I'm a fan of mine. Almost, if not everyone in our office (~250) like theirs.

But then I started getting occasional aches from sitting in it and I could never find an adjustment that made me comfortable in it. Any more, I'd honestly prefer to sit in one of the wood chairs I have at home at my kitchen table than to sit in my Aeron - forreal.
