Not quite true Clyde!

The NCC parents/adults sat behind home plate on the NCC side as did KHSAA Board of Control member Ronnie Dawn and yes there was a bit of a confrontation that the Cooper Staff along with JJ had to control along with a Florence Police officer over looking the entire episode! Other than that and the staff asking the HHS kids to stop waving their blue shirts while the NCC pitcher was throwing it was all good!

No idea who was at fault, and don't care...[/QUOTE]

Oh I think you do and so do I. I am not a big fan of some of the things that go on at the HS baseball level from the student sections.

Not real sure either what happened but I did see alot of finger pointing, jawing, police and administrators.

The sad part is it was between some adults and some high school kids, not HS kids on kids.

Its funny how things continued to escalate even after adults tried to take charge and suddenly the whole situation settled down when Dale was called in........

Geez, I think I didnt hear boo from the HHS kids the rest of the game.

Just kids being kids.

When E.F. Hutton talks kids listen....

Anyone know some numbers on Schulkens.

Those are some very impressive numbers he has put up.

I know he just did win his 300th the other nite against Ryle.

How long has he coached at NewCath 12 or 15 yrs?

He is either very lucky or very good to win 3 of the last 5 Regional titles in the 9th, Iam thinking the latter.

I hear people talk about this and that and I dont see him being talked about as being one of NKY's best coaches ever.

The numbers dont lie and he has the "big game" wins to go with them.

I wish him and the Breds well and I am rooting for both NewCath and Brossart during their runs.

You are correct about once Dale got more involved but in the scale of things concerning the KHSAA, you don't get much higher on the food chain ladder than Ronnie Dawn!

And honestly I really didn't care but I was for both teams sitting behind their dugouts! As I have said before a lighted match and gasoline don't mix close together!

Im pretty sure these players all player together for the Ft Thomas Bulldogs all through Knothole /SW OH leagues. From Highlands Schultz, Murray, NCC, Dupont, and Pete Collopy.

But what is even scarier to think about is there are several from that team who no longer play. Names like Turner, Seidle, Dee from Highlands and Siebert and Bueter from NCC. Alot of strong baseball players from that JR clases on One team back in the day.

How can you say you are pretty sure all these players played together for the Ft. Thomas Bulldogs, then only name 2 players for each team?

There are plenty of other teams let alone leagyes for kids from both schools to play in.

There is a shock, NewCath parents being confrentational because someone else was doing soemthing they didn't like. NewCath fans think they can do whatever they want.

Really? That right there speaks volumes regarding the whole incident that you don't care about!

His first season was '96. Four regional titles in 14 seasons is pretty sang good.

So explain to everyone will you because I am a bit confused! Isn't Ron Dawn indeed a member of the KHSAA Board of Control and isn't being a member of that Board a rather lofty position in the KHSAA. Now how in my mentioning that shows that I care about what happened. Honestly you make me laugh at you because of your constant concern of what I post and BTW did you even attend this game or for that matter any HS baseball games this season?

Honestly one day instead of posting facts, I will post stuff just to get you to respond! :idunno:

If I were a betting man I would say RD is the lite match or ticking time bomb and Dale is the fuel. LOL.

He did look like he was pouring it on Ronnie pretty good there to calm the situation down. They did sit together for the rest of the game, funny stuff imo.

Back to Schulkens and the game. I got to believe that Schulkens is throwing up Hall of Fame numbers imo in such a short period of time. Does anyone know where he ranks in the State of Ky in terms of Wins vs Regional Titles, In NKY he has got to be first and I would say he is top 3 in the State.

Has he ever made it to the state final game? I would say if NewCath could win out he would sit alone in NKY imo.

Anyone got any numbers? All the dang number guys, your killing me here.

Where is Birdsfan when I need him..............:taz:

I did notice on the video that the Birds students were shifted over a bit.

Thats because they were playing the pull......................................

Why dont you re-read my post. I said "these" players meaning specifically the ones mentioned. I didnt mean all of the players. A matter of semántica I guess. While we are on the subject, whi did Caín, Wolterman and Dom Pangallo play youth ball for?

Newcath lost in the state finals last year, I believe.

NCC lost in the quarterfinals last year. Won their first game (Round of 16) over Lawrence County and lost their next game to PRP.

NCC gets a rematch in 2012 as they face PRP tomorrow. Go Breds! Show well for NKY. Birds played PRP at their place early in the season. As always, they are a solid club.
