Most people will score a ball which hits the dirt before reaching the catcher a wild pitch, however, you have some scorers who will call it a pass ball if the catcher does not drop and block it. I would say the "wild pitches" tonight were pass balls. I just think it is the catcher's job to block the ball like it is the first baseman's job to dig a ball in the dirt.

Passed ball, wild pitch when it bounces it bounces it hit the dirt first. Killed some worms. We scored two and they scored one that way. Lawnboy probably credited the Bellevue forfeit as a no hitter lol
