A lot more now that it's going to be discussed on every Reds site, twitter, facebook and probably catch some press. Hell I might call and "Ask Marty" about it. These things don't happen in a vacuum. It's a silly decision across the board.

Opps, I forgot about twitter too, (what ever that is.) Pub is pub, they will be fine.

Insulting your customer base is never good business. If you don't agree with that I don't know what to tell you. It was a dumb move.

All maybe true, but apparently on BGP, Habib, Hammertime and plantmanky are the only ones that care.

I just dont see how it is an insult, to me its clever, pulls the reds cubs series together for a good promotion of their joint.

If I am going to the Reds/Cubs game and need a place to have a few beers before and after I won't be going to CMLH. It might not be a big deal to you but I guarantee it rubs some people the wrong way. Just not very smart IMO.

By facebook standards its old news then.

Just for this series, only when the Cubs are here, or as long as the place is still open?

For the rest of eternity. :D I would certainly go to some other place that supports the Reds than someone that is trying to go after fans of the other team.

For the rest of eternity.

Would you go if I buy?

Yes, but I'm trying to have a realistic discussion about this, you obviously don't care about it which is fine but I have a feeling some people do care about it.

I was just trying to find the point to which you would return to the establishment, ie what would it take.

I will be honest, this will deter me from wanting to spend money there, especially since I wasn't as excited as most about it anyway. Would I have gone there often? No, but if friends wanted to stop in before or after a game, I'm going to push that we visit Holy Grail or Toby Keith's Bar instead because of this. Gives me more of a persuasive argument to go somewhere I'd rather visit, and knowing most of my buddies...they will now feel the same.

Is that going to affect them, probably not really. I'm sure the main people who think like me might have went there once a year anyway. But, either way its money they won't be getting from me/us...equaling bad marketing.

I'd go just about anywhere if someone else is buying not sure why that would make a difference. I would like to give my money to someone who is more supportive of the Reds.
