So far in practices for Saturdays Army All American Bowl Micah has been impressive at linebacker for his East squad.

UK bound Johnson is impressive

It's hard not to like this kid. On top of all of his accolades, he's proven to have the highest integrity. That directly reflects his parents and family. For those who haven't seen him play, tomorrow night would be a good time to watch before he suits up for the Cats.

I would like to see Micah recruit some of the undecided players for UK as he seems to be a great recruiter. It is very encouraging that Micah is taking a leadership role in this game that features the best players in the country...he is going to be something special at UK.

The East squad had a ~40 play scrimmage this morning at the US Army All-American Bowl workouts, and KY "Mr. Football"/UK commitment Micah Johnson was a big-time impact player. Micah had 6 tackles in the short scrimmage and one of the biggest hits of the day. It developed in a funny way. On one play Ohio State RB verbal Chris Wells had a nice grinding run where he kept churning and lowering his shoulder into defenders well after the whistle blew. Johnson told him if he didn't want to get popped, he'd better stop at the whistle. Well, on the very next play, Wells got the carry again and Johnson met him square in the hole. He hit him so hard, it lifted him off his feet and spun him 180 degrees in the opposite direction. Micah got up and shouted, "That's Micah Johnson... THE University of Kentucky."

I love it. This is the exact type of player that we need at Kentucky, and it doesn't hurt when he's as talented as Micah is...:thumb:

I saw a story about each of the players and whether there stock had went up or down during the practices so far and Micah's stock is one that was going up. Looks like he a beast among the nation's best.
