Who is in the running for Caldwell County?

Featured Replies

I find it odd that someone gets upset because their coach is a hot commodity.

Would it be better if he sucked and no one was interested in him?

BTW, Caldwell press conference at 3:30 Friday to name new coach.

Nobody is upset because their coach is a hot commodity. Heck yeah, in my opinion, other schools wanting your coach should..in a way, be something to take great pride in

....on the other hand, you know what Im talking about; the people on here that make it look like Jaggers is after every job in the state, and has supposedly been to places "a year, here and there", then leaves. You know exactly what I meant.

Press conference, huh? Sounds like Caldwell has their man.

He does seem to get linked to every job somehow.

Little did I realize it was a conspiracy of BluegrassPreps.com posters causing all the uproar.

Not every job, just alot of the best jobs. You guys went out and hired a guy that in over 20 years of coaching at Daviess County has never been past the 2nd round of the playoffs and has a losing record as Head coach but he's the guy you all wanted. He's probably never been linked to any other job in the state. When you don't win that's what usually happens.I personally think it's a great move for him because I've heard that Caldwell has alot of talent coming back and should have one of their best teams in a while.

I'm referring to anyone on here attempting to get in a cheap shot at Marty. Who cares about Dunbar or how long he was there. The topic is Caldwell. I believe you and a few others like to get on here and hide behind the mask and use certain topics to take cheap shots. I think speculating on a coaches job is against the rules. Maybe i am wrong but it seems to me like yourself, ckyfootball and ptowndude are trying to take some weak jabs at Jaggers. He's probably forgot more football than 90% of the people (that think they know what they are talking about) on this site will ever know.

I guess, all I was saying was the truth....not jabbs. I don't know the man or know what kind of coach he is. Just know what he did at Dunbar. Doesn't matter to me.

No one is taking jabs at Jaggers. He took the job and Dunbar and decided against it. He also took the job at Mercer County and then applied and was interviewed for the Hopkinsville job a few weeks later. He pulled out when it was obvious he wasn't getting the job. I don't think Jaggers has a reputation as someone who moves around a lot. He just has a reputation as someone who applies and interviews for a lot of vacancies, then withdraws his name when it's apparent he won't be getting the job.

Again, the topic is Caldwell Co. not Marty. I don't think it is fair for you to throw out accusations that affect Marty's family and players. Even if he did interview why do you find it necessary to tell everyone? What are your motives? Fletch you give info that i would think doesn't even fit this post. Also, with that kind of information you are providing you had better be able to back it up according to the BGP rules. How do you know the Marty interviewed at Hopkinsville and then pulled his name out? I hope the Guru will request you to provide some hard evidence of your claim! :irked:

Would you like to know what they had for lunch that day also?

You might want to educate yourself with your arguements a little better before you go on a rah-rah campaign about something you apparently know little about. Like most people who post on BGP, the information posted are facts and most people wouldn't jeopardize their membership by posting inaccurate information.

I just hope you can now back up your information in future posts, according to BGP rules, because right now, you're batting .000.

Where in the article does it say that it was obvious he wasn't getting the job?I agree with Pride,if you have a problem with him checking out some of the best jobs in the state why don't you tell him face to face or give him a call.In an Article with the Danville advocate he stated why he looked into the job and immediately after meeting with the AD and principal he took his name out of consideration.

There is already a thread on Barnes being named head coach.
