April 4, 201214 yr I've seen them picked in several places to win the NL East. Given the extra Wild Card spot, I think they're a certain playoff team. Once you're in, and as long as you're not from the Central, you've got a shot.
April 4, 201214 yr Author Given the extra Wild Card spot, I think they're a certain playoff team. Once you're in, and as long as you're not from the Central, you've got a shot. That's basically my thinking too.
April 4, 201214 yr Given the extra Wild Card spot, I think they're a certain playoff team. Once you're in, and as long as you're not from the Central, you've got a shot. Yeah because the NL Central didn't do a thing last post season.
April 4, 201214 yr Author Yeah because the NL Central didn't do a thing last post season. Albert Pujols ain't walking through that door.
April 4, 201214 yr Albert Pujols ain't walking through that door. Exactly. Don't remember Pujols being the MVP last year. David Freese is walking thru that door, along with Carpenter, Wainwright and Garcia. The Cardinals proved last year all you have to do is get hot at the right time. To say a NL Central team doesn't have a shot is asinine.
April 4, 201214 yr Carpenter? He is being wheel chaired through that door. Who knows how long he will be out.
April 4, 201214 yr Carpenter? He is being wheel chaired through that door. Who knows how long he will be out. Carpenter is a bulldog. He'll be back.
