Given the extra Wild Card spot, I think they're a certain playoff team. Once you're in, and as long as you're not from the Central, you've got a shot.

Don't remember Pujols being the MVP last year. David Freese is walking thru that door, along with Carpenter, Wainwright and Garcia. The Cardinals proved last year all you have to do is get hot at the right time. To say a NL Central team doesn't have a shot is asinine.

Carpenter? He is being wheel chaired through that door. Who knows how long he will be out.
