Wonder why we didn't get in the tourney?

 

Would think you would know if you had a kid on the team. Just ask her. I'm sure the coach has talked to the team about the schedule.

It will be the same teams, same districts, same regions - Ryle and Conner, Dixie and St. Henry in Regional Semis - one caveat would be if Boone can overtake Ryle or Conner

 

Was not that impressed with Boone last week. They struggled bad against a young HHS team. If not for eras again the birds would have beat Boone. Look forward to watching HHS win a few games this yr in the region.

I would agree with BGH at times ND looked like a defferent team from last year and then a few mistakes and it was back to the old. I will say this BBHS hits the ball hard. I seen them play this weekend and every game they hit well. Even there outs were hard outs, Was very impressed for sure ! Overall the tournament was alot of good softball, alot of quality teams. Congrats to Conner !

 

I agree. They hit the ball very well and play very good defense. Not too impressed with their pitching at this point but she will get better, and she will be fine because they play such solid defense.

I agree with your about their hitting and defense very solid ! I think if she keeps improving she'll be fine at the end of the year when it counts !

Yeh, when we played Brossart they hit the ball preety hard against us. Their pitcher kept us off balance by changing her speeds up. She was preety good with hitting her spots, not a blow by you pitcher, but frustrated us by not being able to time her very well. She also hit the ball hard against us. They must teach just to smash the ball! I think we can give them a better game next time, we just can't let them get rolling.

My daughter is good friends with BBHS pitcher. She told me that she doesn't act like a Freshman on the mound. I watched her and she was right, she is not the quickest pitcher, but she made good pitches and had a good defense behind her. We started to rally one inning and I was waiting for her to get a little rattled, but she didn't, she was smiling having the time of her life. She seems like a good kid, and from how my daughter speeks of her she is. Good luck to her and her team. We play them one more time and I think we will be ready for them.
