  3. Thanks for the heads-up. Diamond in the rough. Sub 50 400m, 6-0 high jumper. It'd be interesting if Coach Meyer trained and entered him in a few 300m hurdle races. I think he'd be a good college 400m hurdles prospect, and he'd be a multi-event asset for a program. Missing the indoor track season to play hoops isn't a deal breaker. But with only two years(?) of track under his belt it'll slow his development and he's having to reset for track fitness/technique every year. Look forward to following him this spring. Go Warriors!.
  4. โญ ๐ŸƒThat's terrific; best of luck to them in pursuing their goals! โ€ข I think Runcruit, the site below, is a good starting resource. Fill in any school your athlete is interested in on the search line. You'll get standards for "Recruit, Walk On, and Tryout." You should be able to find just about every NCAA and NAIA school. I used UK as an example here, with graphic below (not shown: there's a hyperlink to the school's current coach/recruiter info) ~ runcruit.com/standards/university-of-kentucky โ€ข MileSplitKY is a great way for all concerned to track their teams, athletes, schedules, and meet results. It's worth exploring, the database is huge, the search function is good, and with a little effort, you can find where a runner's HS performances from past years landed them in college. One of the best distance runners in the 2024 class is Ryle's Tiger Bartlett, a Cincinnati commit. Here's a link to his performance profile seen in the second graphic ~ ky.milesplit.com/athletes/10434974-tiger-bartlett โ€ข It's definitely worthwhile checking a college team's website. Get a feel for who is currently on the team, what performances led them there, and what the program's strengths are. Again using UK as an example here ~ ukathletics.com/sports/track/roster/#mensRosterBlock Please let us know how all is progressing. PM me if you like; I've played a number of roles in the process over the years.
