  1. It will take lots of time and lots of hard work or watering down the schedule to just get wins. Freshmen were solid, 8th grade has a class solid, 7th grade questionable, 6th grade not very good.
  2. I hope he does a good job being a Braves fan. Good luck with this new journey. Good place to start coaching and move on but to stay very long will be difficult. AD is a miserable and does not want basketball to do well. The only good thing in Jones favor is the hire of a new superintendent and maybe his eyes are opened to the job-sense that occurs in athletics. Extracurricular drives culture in a school system and should be a focus of every school in every distric.
  3. He was frosh coach for Ron Kinman, he quit when Kinman didn’t promote him to JV coach after Utter was promoted to varsity assistant. Kinman brought someone else in.
  4. I’m still dumbfounded that something is going on at Cooper that he would consider leaving?
  5. This is an intriguing job that should pull some good candidates. Winnable district each year and seems Harrison cares scout athletics.
  6. Congrats and good luck. I think he will do well at Holmes…might take some time?
  7. Head coach left because of athletic director and lack of support. Assistant coaches followed. Still no word on this heard interviews were over.
  8. Seems it’s taking a long time to find a coach? Any updates?
  9. Noah Robinson-played for SK on current coaching staff?? Should be a good candidate.
  10. Grant is not a school rich in success or a big draw for athletes. Two region championship 1958&1978. 3 district titles in last 30 years. Maybe a new coach can turn it around.
  11. Congrats to Coach Burns and Spencer County. Well deserved and great competitors all season. Good luck next week!
