I heard that the cards were going to dress some of the 8th graders for this one. -
That's what makes it fun for the boys

AA Region 1 Title Game: Owensboro Catholic @ Mayfield

The one factor that no one has taken into account is the infamous MAYFIELD MAGIC. Also the fact that GOD has to be Mayfield Cardinal fan. I have witnessed this several times. I know that it has to be. -

I've seen CAL and DeSales both in action. Mayfield will take both to school. Cards will be the 2A Champs when all is said and done. That's what my crystal ball shows. -
I haven't seen the young man play but if he is anything like his dad was in high school at Trigg County. Not sure that the best defense will stop him. Al Baker was by far the best back I ever faced. I seen moves that no one else could think about plus power and speed.

I too think Murray is over rated. After their loss to the Buzzards regardless of being plagued with injuries. The Tigers will come to War Memorial with a game plan of eating up the clock with 2 yards and a cloud of dust. Same as last season. But the Cardinals will strike back quick and take advantage of each possession and the mistakes the Tigers make. This will be the week Mayfield begins hitting on all cylinders. Mayfield wins this match up 38-13

Beechwood vs Mayfield semifinal predictions

Not exactly rolling out the red carpet for the Cardinal fan's now. Is that the best you can do TP. Thought you carried a little more weight with the Beechies than that. Highly disappointed in you. -

What a great tradition. Got to watch the Cards practice on Thanksgiving day. Cards win this game in a close one. This is a road that these boys are accustomed to and they know the task at hand. What I need to know is where are the pregame festivities taking place. No one has brought up for a while. So if someone could post an address or something that would be great👍 -
Is this the end of the Haskins legacy? I also could not believe the fake punt call at that point in the game. Wonder what their logic was behind that call?

What a great night for football. Northwest winds and 30 degrees. I want to give the OL some credit in their performance last night. There were some very good pull blocks from Karman that was the difference in Bright breaking a couple of his TD's. Maybe the OL will carry this into the last third of the season. And hopefully we have seen the last of the stupid penalties that are killing our drives -

Greetings to all BGP users. I am new to the forum and have been reading the replies from everyone and now would like to throw in my 2 cents worth. I have to say after watching both teams play that this will be a full 4 qtrs of football. A battle for both teams. I am the newest Mayfield Cardinal in the program and have to say that i have always respected the Cards program for many years. I always wondered what the chemistry was that made this small town, odd ball program such a success. But now am finding out. You could say that i have drink the Kool-Aid. Even back in the day when we had to play Mayfield. They would block, tackle, and execute every play perfectly. It is truly a special place to experience what Pride and Tradition is all about. Therefore, I am taking the Cards in this game just due to the fact that these boys do not know the meaning of lose. Nor is it in their vocabulary.
