I played 4 years at Campbellsville, and the small college experience is definitely worth it. When most of your teammates from high school have to hang up the pads after your last loss, and you get an extra 4 years to do what you love, there is no replacing that!!
...or by watching everytime ESPN slobbers all over them after a 6-2 start losing to a mediocre USC team, and a Michigan team that went 5-7!! Where did all that hype go when they lost their last four to finish 6-6 and decline a bowl bid?? These kids watch enough ESPN to know that Notre Dame used to be great. It seems like most everyone wants them to get back on top to sort of "restore order" in the NCAA Football landscape. Which personally, I enjoy their and Michigan's struggles alike!!
I'm pretty sure he never played RB, and if he did it was sparingly. His senior year, he was QB, before that a WR. He also played LB, SS, KR/PR as well, I don't remember any RB play.
MANUAL
Sherman Lewis '59 RB Michigan St current OC Washington Redskins
Travis Prentice '95 RB Miami Ohio Cleveland Browns and Minnesota Vikings
Corey Waller '02 RB Harvard
Byron Tinker '03 LB Marshall
Just a few that were overlooked from the Crimsons.
After witnessing defeats to both Highlands and SK this year, I think that Simpson is a better college prospect than Collinsworth. Don't get me wrong Collinsworth is great, but IMO, Simpson is just a tad above #22 at this point.
