  1. Great post! :thumb: I believe this was the best game of the year for the Raiders. The Raiders had grab the short end of the stick a couple of games this year. Losing to Gallatin by a touchdown when Trimble could of easy won. And losing to Eminence by 2, when the Raiders got two touchdowns called back. Walton did all they could and has a great ball club. They have the best first year ball club in the state in my opinion. #5 is a better running back than quarterback and it would have taken a lot more to stop him on his senior night. Game evenly match. Great game and can't wait to see these two teams meet again.
  2. Lets not also forget Blake Renfro #1 and Michael Edens #22 taking care of business on offense and defense. Cody Webster, Joe West, Alvin Seals, Luke Sands holding it down on the defensive line.
  3. Coach Poynter is a great coach and I don't see him allowing his team to be making anyone else's history. It's going to be a grinded out game to the finish and the team that wants it the most wins. Sullivan #5 shows off and makes the defense look silly. Smith #73 allows nothing on the ground. Posas #8 makes great plays all night long. And Hunt #34 is a sneak attack on defense. All on their senior night! Walton-10 Trimble-28
  4. This game is in the air. It's Trimble senior night and if emotion does not play a negative factor the Raiders should win in tough game. Both teams evenly match but in any doubts Trimble has a little edge. Good luck to both teams.
  5. Another lost for the bulldogs! This is outrageous:scared:... close game fought to the end. Any stats on Green anyone?
  6. Big UPS! To the young guys that stepped in and showed 'Raider Pride' when their number was called. Freshman Skiler Alxander on his first career touchdown pass and DL Johnathon Wilson first career sack. Good job to Coach Poynter especially, he's doing a tremendous job with this group of guys despite the record. It's a scary thing to play Poynter's team when Trimble is rolling on all cylinders. The ball was shared well and took a load off of Sullivan's back. Edens (20 carries 109 yards) and Posas (8 carries 85 yards;1 touchdown) great running really spark the victory and toughness from the young quarterback in tough game situation. Next Week should be a intersting game. Walton-Verona is a alright team after all and their coach is doing a great job. Good luck to both teams.
  7. The panthers will be tough this year. Over the summer Carroll only lost to rival Trimble County by 1 point and had only six players. They will be tough this year only if they can show leadership and fight when times are tough.
  8. CJ Penny, Trent Maddox and their ball clubs are great but the ultimate sleeper of the region is none other than the Trimble County Raiders. Coach Lauster has been there for 4 years and has had some down years but coming off his best season with a 10-15 record when his team should have been 15-10 easily but lost close matches will be a great threat. They lost 3 seniors which none started and the whole entire starting line up is returning which are now all seniors. The seinors are 6'5 Christian Courtney, 6'2 Cody Kidwell, 6'0 Cory Turner, 6'0 Aaron Law, and 5'10 Larry Sullivan Jr. Coming off the bench with alot more experience will be junior 6'2 Josh Edington, Sophomore 5'10 Zach Adair and newcomer 6'2 Justin Webb. Over the summer the Raiders record was 16-6! All those loses came from very stiff competiton. Only two of them were lose by more than 15, one lost by more than 10 and 3 loses by less than 10.
  9. I respect your perspective completly, and I was just giving you an explanation. The only the time the QB is at 7 yards is when the offense is running the A-11 offense. When in original formation, the QB is at 4 to 5 yards. I understand what your saying about using the feet to get outside the pocket, which is a great idea. I personally know the Sullivan kid and if I can remember I will tell him. :thumb:
  10. Jars 08 12, you must also look at the time that the quarterback has. When you have tall and fast defensive ends coming off the edge unblocked and two linebackers that are well coach and very discipline crashing up the middle, sometimes the only time you have is looking at one side of the field.
  11. Me on the other hand, don't dislike JC what so ever. They are a respectful bunch of boys with good coaching. Them boys know what team work is about and sticking by each others side! :dancingpa
  12. Congrats to Johnson Central! Good job coach on getting your boys ready, I believe that your boys have I promising future come November. Way to go! :dancingpa
  13. Johnson Central is ready for this big match-up. I saw these boys at camp getting pumped up for this game. This game is going to be more about football. It's going to be about U.S pride. JC coach will have this team in full throttle ready to go. Good Luck Johnson Central!:ylsuper:
  14. Don't get too caught up in this hype 'ol #70, Trimble is tough and will put up a fight against the Wildcats. Let the talking be done on the field tonight. I smell a Appalacian St. v.s Michigan all over again. And if anything this game will be a shoot out.
