  1. Ray Huron and Wylie Brace have commited to KCU and will sign Thursday.
  2. Scott Grizzle transferring was a complete surprise to the folks here at KCU. He was splitting time and probably didn't like that, but neither QB stepped up and took the spot. The other QB had academic troubles, and most transfers were young men that recruited KCU, not players KCU recruited. There are also 8 additions this spring, transfers from Morehead State, West Virginia State and a few players who didn't play this past fall, but were recruited by the staff last winter. KCU has some good commitments thus far and have hosted numerous young men on campus since the last game in October.
  3. I have a hard time believing that she was having trouble with the A.D. He gave up his office in memorial colliseum so she would have equal footing with the men's coaches. He also really made a publicity push for the women's program. He also paid her very well for an SEC women's coach. We need to get off barnhardt's back.
  4. I feel booing or abusing anyone at any level is inexcusable because everyone goes out there to do there best, this goes for players, coaches, and officials, so we need to encourage or say nothing at all.
  5. I think it is time for Jody Hamilton to return to the area. He is an alum and a great baseball guy.
  6. Donald Damron was and still is a class act and he did a great job building a program basically from scratch and he has taught us all (myself included) a very important lesson that sports aren't nearly as important as family and your church. Donald has taken on not only a principal's job but also he has three young kids, and a father who is battling cancer, and he is doing what is best for the family as well as to help lighten the load at his church in his dad's absence. Donald always set a great example with his four F of life Faith, Family, Friends and Football and he lived that out every day for his players to see.
  7. http://cincinnati.reds.mlb.com/news/...=.jsp&c_id=mlb The lefty slugger hit .400 (10-25), posted a slugging percentage of .760 and recorded an on-base percentage of .484. His nine RBI paced the National League and his three homers were tied atop the N.L. Notice that i said lately....
  8. I may be mistaken, but don't the Orlando Magic have a head coach by the name of Brian Hill? http://www.nba.com/magic/roster/
  9. Griffey, upon coming to cincinnati took a deal that was well below his market value and he has also deferred money so the Reds could go and get what they have needed. Griffey has actually breathed a little life into the reds lately and he has shown that we can go and get a big name we just have to put more around him than edwin encarnarcion and eric milton.
  10. If you want continuity look at the West Carter staff, with several of the coaches having been there since the program got started in the mid to late 70's.
  11. Why have we not mentioned David Wells? He would help our rotation and be good in the club house.
  12. Preach on brother... The yanks have always and will always get it done and make the playoffs... Look for Roger Clemens and Harden from the A's to be in the rotation and for A-Rod to be the AL MVP.
  13. Well it's hard to win a big game when you lead your team to 30+ points and your defense can't hold the other team to under forty. If you look at the scores of the big game ND almost always had good offensive production just poor defense, except last years sugar bowl, which was an all around ugly game.
