...former Negro League players, will have their statistics officially incorporated into Major League Baseball’s historical records, according to a person familiar with the announcement.
It will be interesting to see which stats are included and if any will change some of baseballs most iconic records. One point of contention I expect to see is that stats accumulated during barnstorming tours will not be included. I don't expect to see Josh Gibson with the new all-time homerun record with 800 HRs as the vast majority were hit in non-league barnstorming games.
This oak took out electric, cable, internet, ripped down a street light and blocked the street about 1:30 this morning.
Luckily for us it did block the street and the City is cutting it up and hauling it off for me.

Power 5 Football is already outside of the NCAA as far as the money goes. If the Power 5 completely leave the NCAA, then it would fall on them to foot the bill for championships in all the non-revenue sports. It honestly would be easier and less expensive to stay as is.
Agreed, I also spent years in internal investigations with my company. The charged amount is always the number that you can prove and seek restitution on.
It works out to around $1,400 a month...nice side hustle.
