Please make a note that due to technical difficulities, the Johnson Central 2007 football preview was not on air today but will instead air at 5:00 tomorrow (Saturday) on "New Country" WSIP 98.9....So, hope all of the Johnson Central fans will tune in on their trip to South Point.

The first night of Kentucky High School Game Night will be tonight at 10:00 PM on "New Country" WSIP 98.9. If you have any game scores that you want to go out on the air, please send a pm. Tune in to see who the first player of the week and scholar athlete of the week is. Plus, there will also be a regional top five.

Just an update on the 2007 Lawrence County Football Preview. The show is set to air on 92.3 WZAQ on thursday, August 23 at 6 p.m. the format has changed slightly but it is still going to be a great show. Don't miss it.

Lawrence County Football Preview Just wanted everyone to know that Dynamic Sports Productions the parent corporation of KHS GameNight will be presenting a Football Preview Show for the Lawrence County Bulldogs on WZAQ 92.3 in Louisa on Thursday, August 23 at 6 p.m. This has been in the works for about a month and was finalized today. This will be a 1-hour preview with player and coaches interviews. Stay tuned for more announcements as we will be presenting Johnson Central and Sheldon Clark previews as well on WSIP.

You are right...it is a big area. But, we are working with some of the local high school media departments. Interested students will have the opportunity to be a part of KHS GameNight. That gives us some of the man (or woman) power we need behind the scenes. It also gives the students a chance to gain some hands-on experience in this type of radio environment.

We can't give away all of our plans. But, I will say that we will be honoring players for their academic achievements as well.

We have had a great response from the coaches. And, yes we will be presenting a trophy to each Player of the Week.

Yes, there will be call-ins. However, they will come from coaches, media and designated reporters.

I cleared this announcement with Guru a couple of weeks ago and since today was the first day of football practice I thought this was the perfect time to make the announcement. Beginning Friday, August 24, a new sports radio program will air on 98.9 WSIP at 10 p.m. In the comming weeks the show will air immediately following the conclusion of all Johnson Central Football Games on the same station. Kentucky High School Game Night will run down all of the scores from that night which will include radio hilights from certain games. In addition, KHS Game Night will provide post-game interviews with coaches and members of the media as well as in-depth statistics from each contest. No longer will you have to scan the radio stations on your way home from the game, hoping to find scores. KHS Game Night, on 98.9 WSIP, will be the only stop you need to make.
