Do you boo players or the coaching staffs
Springsteen#1 replied to newarkcatholicfan's topic in KY Football (High School)
Once you have a child of your own, I don't see how you could boo or talk bad about another kid. -
Very tough, but, very cool to try to pick Lead singer- Bruce Springsteen Lead guitar-Eddie Van Halen(Van Halen) Bass-John Paul Jones( Led Zep) Drums-Neil Peart(Rush)

IMO no team really stepped up, in the morning session Raceland looked strong with a 45-29 victory over East Carter and about a 9 point win over Portsmouth , Ohio//Racelands Jacob Sparks has really gotten stronger and has definetly taken over the leadership role along with a good bunch of seniors.Tyler Boyles played his normal well rounded game, Cody Barker rebounded well and avg about 10 pts a game during the day. Fairview is a team to be reckoned with in the 64th an in the 16th good mixture of youth an experience, with Jackson,Hall and Collins they have a terrific Soph. class and with Armstrong in the middle to compliment them they will upset some people

Over 3500 now have been killed in Iraq
Springsteen#1 replied to Springsteen#1's topic in Kentucky / National Politics
I wonder If the people who preach oil is worth dying for would have the guts to walk up to a grieving mother or father an say its ok he died for 10 gallons of gas. I guess its ok that 3500 are dead as long as they are not the 3500 that I know. That is truly sickening -

Sad but true,My son is 15 and it scares me about what conflict will be next, Iran, Syria or to be announced and with our troops being spread thin the draft will have to be re-enacted -
Very funny story:thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

Over 3500 now have been killed in Iraq
Springsteen#1 replied to Springsteen#1's topic in Kentucky / National Politics
True blue I truly believe God will bless the soldiers and their families, I just worry that we as a nation have become to accept the death and destruction that is going on, the president has made it illegal to show the flag drapped coffins when they arrive back home, and their moms or wifes can't be there to accept them back. Sir that is just wrong. -
Have we become numb to the fact that our kids are being killed in these numbers thousands of miles away from home just like in the 1960's. In the 1960's we were told we had to fight to stop the spread of communism, but in reality we fought for Exxon and the other huge oil companies, could that be the reason our kids are dying now and not to stop the spread of radical Islam? A person just needs to read Mcnamera's book or Andersons biography on Johnson. While the youth in the sixties fought against war they are now exploiting war IMO

Greg was a fine catcher in High school and legion ball so I am kind of partial towards him, but IMO GCHS should have given him a shot 4 yrs ago but the past is the past -

No GM is going to be the one that passes on him, especially Portland who can still remember Bowie instead of Jordan -

I think the job Coach Trimble does goes unappreciated, his knowledge of the game is unmatched in the 16th region. As a ram I feel very fortunate to have him as a coach an a person -
Should the Reds trade Dunn for Lidge?
Springsteen#1 replied to sumoroyal's topic in Major League Baseball (MLB)
How many times have we seen closers just lose it for some unknown reason? Dan Kolb, Danny Graves, Chris reitsma I just don't think you trade someone like Dunn to someone in your own league much less your own division -
I don't think ECHS could go wrong with a Brown brother
