IMO since bill musick wanted Chad out and rex in then rex should have to give the boys Basketball job up to either Coach Hall or Coach Davis, either one would be probably more qualified than rex and more respected for their abilities.I believe the people of Westwood need to attend the next Board of Education meeting and let your feelings be known especially the basketball players parents because rex has chosen the football team over your sons!!!

I had the pleasure of visiting this week with a wonderful young man who plays for the eagles he said he didn't understand why people didn't like Coach Tackett he said he explained everything without going insane, an 90% of all the kids would run through the wall for him, also Chad called them together and tried to explain what was going on an that he did not want to leave but he had no choice

I don't have a dog in the fight either, but I do have problem when I see an athletic dept like Fairviews that with mostly parents involvment have risen from the ashes to respectibility state-wide be brought down by a few egotistical driven men. I ask the people that have the evidence to bring it forward and show the people of Westwood the way the leaders of their children truly are

The good ol boy system is alive and well in Fairview. Bill Musick's Son doesn't make all-area a couple of years ago blames Coach Tackett for that, so its time to show Mr. Tackett who is BOSS an in this case I don't mean Springsteen, he gets a couple of his school board buddies, and a certain other coach to go along with it and as quick as you can say Chad resigned they get the "Godfather" of Fairview athletics to step in.(Ram I apologize for ever doubting you). The time is NOW for the parents of the kids to stand up and say enough is enough 3-4 individuals will not control the entire athletic dept at Fairview. It's to late for Chad but, make Coach Cooksey decide if he is a football or a basketball coach because in this day and time you can not be both

The parents have to be upset by this because I know the kids are. IMO if the administration were not from Westwood the knashing and Knawing of teeth would have already started.

Rex has too good a basketball team to leave them. And with seasons overlapping I can't see that but I could see him helping as D coordinator again

I say it will be only 3 days before the super appoints himself as the new Head Coach. That gives the impression that they gave it alot of consideration. I could be wrong maybe Bill gives it to one of the McPeeks but I really doubt it:cry: :cry: :cry:

INSIDE ZONE at 10:00 am this morning Chad turned in his resignation, congratulations to the leaders of Fairview High School now you have what you wanted. Chad if you read BGP you are the better man and the people of the area recognize this. Any school will be very lucky to have you coach them

madduxace there are a # of players that probably deserve to be on the list but IMO of the ones I've seen those I named were the best all around,offensively,defensively and rebounding

Generals Soldier I have nothing against Mike Scott but he could not hold up to Steve Skaggs. If Steve was 6'11 he would have been in the NBA an anyone from the 16th that saw hem play would have to agree. Steve would probably have to be on the all-time 16 region team
