If you are going based on this years stats, I do not know how Isler could not be voted on as player of the year. When CCH needed a win or played a ranked opponent it was typically Isler who was on the mound. If you take him away from this team, they lose ALOT. Although CCH has some good pitchers, none of them are the dominate type that will shut down a good team. Also, don't forget Isler hasn't been too shabby with the bat himself.

I agree! He reminds me of a lot of CCH's 2002 pitcher Rob Harmon. Maybe a little smoother that Rob. He seems to look effortless out there.

We were out in centerfield watching and counted what we thought to be at least 7 hit batters by Smith. Is this not correct?

I thought someone mentioned that he pitched yesterday against Dixie, but I may be wrong. I think that it stated in the preview thread of this game that HC's coach started Roenker yesterday because he believed that it was supposed to rain today.

What did the Bengals do last year to warrant a prime time game? If you win, then you get the prime time games, lately the Bengals haven't been winning.
