I don't know if it would bring UK back to the national spotlight or not. However, it would certainly bring Rose Hill back into the national spotlight. As with the Mayo Years, it would mean standing room only and much more money in the coffers of Rose Hill and of all of the schools it plays on the road. Of course, the local jealousies would again flourish but that is the price paid by those in the limelight.

I would suggest that you should go by who makes trips to Bowling Green to participate rather than to just sit in the stand.

Did they really lose by 29 points? If so, the performance of Watts is really meaningless.

This was a fine tournament and a pleasure to watch.

I would doubt that Coach Hicks has any interest in coaching at Greenup County. I would guess that his goal is to prevail in the law suit- a very solid possibility. I understand that there was a committee appointed to evaluate applicants for the coaching job. The "head" of that committee, from my information, is referred to in some above posts. I also understand that the work of the committee was ignored by the administration which has produced more hard feelings- as if any more were needed. Under the circumstances, Mr. Leach may need a Plan B.

Is the hiring of Coach Leach finalized or pending future developments? It would seem unlikely that Greenup County could offer the position with no possible strings attached. In any case, I wish Coach Leach, assuming he becomes "Coach Leach", the best of luck. My contacts in Greenup County indicate that he may have been the last candidate remaining in the field.

This must be fairly new. It certainly hasn't operated in this way in the past. However, if so, it is an improvement as long as KHSAA treats everyone the same and is objective rather than subjective.

True. However, it seems that Hicks is gaining credibility in the "court of public opinion".

Does anyone else have the feeling that the worm is turning in this fiasco? Hicks appears to be looking better.

From everything I have read, Rose Hill has never filed a complaint with KHSAA concerning the "transfer" of a student-athlete and history indicates that they have had several opportunities to complain. Wonder if that policy would change?

Would the state's second rated freshman, Chad Jackson, accompany Euton on the "trip" and does this indicate that Coach Euton turned down the opportunity to coach the young ladies at Ballard? Wouldn't it be poetic justice for Coach Euton to accept the Boyd County job but to leave her son at Rose Hill? Rose Hill does appear to have a lot more supporting talent than is present at Boyd County for the next few years.
