Manual must have a good team watched them at 7 on 7 passing camp at Male,they (Manual)won it all,Central didnt impress me much ,could they(Central) be hiding something if not it could get ugly ....

What about Chris Jackson Breathitt Co. he should have been there also....

I guess as being from the mountians in '60 and '70,Basketball was my True LOVE in sports,but I didnt get to play that sport(basketball),so Football came along and I got to play for our Team and seem as if it just got in the family's blood stream,having played on the first team at our school,then having two son playing for winning state championship teams it was Great, now having one to go, its kind of intresting to see if it can happen just one more time and being a father getting to enjoy my love of the sports through my sons has been really special,as old football man once said it take generations to have a quality team,and just maybe he is right,but most of all I really think of myself as a "Fan of the game" and my love for most sports keep me intrested in seeing all teams do well,and of course the kids are the most important part of it all because without the kids they wouldnt be any sports...Go Bobcats..

Yes ,They are in coverage area of WYMT so i guess we think they are a Mountian team,i think it is much more level over in that county but they have a good team,and wish them well this season...

LCC and Boyd Co.plays at 6 pm and BC Bobcats and Sommerset plays at 8:15 pm hope to see you at Mike Holcomb Field/Complex should be a great night of Mountian Football...I think Varsity plays 3 quarters and JV plays 1 quarter...

I wonder how many coaches will be looking at film of other teams they play durning the season Saturday morning,I say plenty will be passed around by noon,dont you think.....

Coaches will not show much because of all the tapes that will be passed around,i hope that they let their Kid(COLE) catch a few passes,I do believe he is one of the better kids in state..hope we see all the players do well and have a great evening of football.....

As most have stated what we think and what happens will all have to be done on field,that being said what i have to say is this Southwestern will always field good athletes and Coach Dale is an offensive minded coach and his Qb's are usually well rounded so that makes them a threat,and we all know about the ROCK's they have a ground game and it should be best game of the evening,The Jumpers will be ok this year and they have to have one most exciting players in state as reciver and Coach Cobb will let people know this hopefully the jumpers have some help and that should seal the game against Pulaski Co. should be a great evening of Football,maybe best Bowl game around.....

Football fans that came to this scrimage seen 3 good teams Middleboro has lots speed and talent,LCC was big and speed ,Breathitt looked to be in very good shape and played well also their defense was better than fans thought they would be ,LCC score once one them and that was it,so all in all was great nite of football.....:thumb:

I will have ta say the 2002 play-off game was a game too remember for sure,and will be played at my house on dvd a few times ,two good football programs and good mountian traditions so yes make for Great Game. hope P'burg has good season. ....Go Bobcats.....

I really think Big Al will show PCC that he was the man at PCC and now with him being at HAZARD will and has put them in the top three in 14th region and with him being gone PCC is not close to being the team they would have been if he would have been on their bench,its just a case of political back lash,and it was a bad move on their part(PCC),as i have stated Al Holland is top coach in these mountians, his teams is ten points better anytime he takes the floor with them.....

Well i have witness 3 state Championships at Breathitt County and will say this our 1997 team maybe was as good team as any that won,so they are lots of things that really goes in to it to be State Championship winners....such as LUCK,but it all starts after kids play their last game of previous season..working in weight room and own their own time with out having to be told too work,getting in shape because you want to be the best and refuse too Loose,and then "FIND A WAY" to WIN.... thats when u can say you CAN win a State Championship...and it TAKES a TEAM.... not just one or two Guys... people that may make one or two TD in season has to be ready to step up and score when needed and then DEFENSE has to be there..and with Most teams that wins the old sayin is offence is fer show and Defense is fer DOUGH (CHAMPIONSHIPS) is about sa good as it gets....it does work as i said i have seen it 3 times... Go Bobcats...

Yes ,Bobcats will play the yellerjeckets,I say around 5-6 pm should be some good football action,with Cougars and Bobcats and Yellerjackets be sure and be there to cheer on these mountian teams............Go Bobcats...

They have meet "The Bobcats" this Friday August 3rd at around 5 pm everyone is welcome and a dinner(Fish,and Blooming Onions) will be served at $5.00 each,then they scrimage at LCC August 10th the next week and play Grid next week against Sommerset August 17th then the following week seaon stars on friday the 24th Mike Holcomb Stadium will be rockin and Breathitt will get to see the 2007 Bobcats in action against Madison Southern at 7:30 for real.......Go Bobcats.....

People there in Owlsley must realize he has 4 sons ,they are young but can and will be good players someday,and he is taking his nephew Nick Noble starting point guard from Breathitt Co. just a 10th grader and with what he has coming back it will be hard for them to win with out lots of support from others,cause they lost most all the starting players last year team,but i do wish him the Best of Luck...

No doubt Drew Davidson is one of the top players in 14th region and JCS has some good players that should help them be a good solid team,its their younger kids coming up that seem to be not as good as they have been use too,so the feeder system is where its at.... Good Luck Tigers.....

YES,Breathitt Co. Bobcats will be a 14th region contender even tho they have lost a couple good young players Nick (Noble To Owlsley Co. and Josh Salyers to Jackson City) it never helps when that happens,but we do wish the kids best of luck,this means some of the young players will have to step up such as Ryan Allen and Jade Haddix ,Justin Talubee,Travis "Blue" Terry all seen playing time last year....With Nick Noble being gone the point guard is open for grabs,but a very strong tem will still be put on the floor as the freshman class last year was really strong and(9) deep so we will have to see just what Coach Steve Banks and his coaching staff can pull outta their "HAT" but as a fan I say they can keep the basketball gym roaring with good plays from ,Travis Smith and Justin Hollon,Dokata Ritchie and Arron "Bull" Combs and Channing Fugate,and who ever steps up to fill other spot,so see you at the games here in mountian basketball should be exciting to watch as always...Go Bobcats........With this being said I do think the Breathitt Co. Bobcats are in Top Three in Region with JB,and Hazard in there also.......

As someone who loves the game of Football and of course The Bobcats ,and wants them to win everytime they take the field and we as Fans and game watchers of mountian football have come to expect that from a Mike Holcomb coach team,not many games can anyone say they left the Mike Holcomb stadium when the team on field didnt give it all they had,so yes, this year seems to be a year(for Bobcats) with all pieces in place and i do think they have a ligt shot at being in L'ville,and if russell and belfrey makes it they will know they have to go through BOBCAT COUNTRY......and we all know this so GO Bobcats.......

I think he is a great coach and knows basketball and is a winner,not very personal with parents but he is a winner and is what i call a really good team coach and he took a Breathitt team with not much talent and won all time(2-3 yrs) he was a Breathitt ,i say he would be a good coach for any team that wants to win.....Congrats Coach Baker
