The jackets seem to be playin worse now than they was at the begining of the year. They tried to press in the second half and gave Bell at least four lay ups if not more. Zachary and Wilson both had solid games for Bell.

The game that will decide the winner for this bracket will be the 6:00 game on thursday night. I think the semi finals and final is at Cumberland, but dont take my word on it. Does anyone know for sure?

Middlesboro scored 85 against Bell in the district tournament last yr. So I would say the last time they played.

The Jackets travel to Log mountain this friday with the most athletic team they have had in years. They just seem to lack defense which has always been a problem Middlesboro. Middleboro 81 bell 77

Not sure if they have or not. They had one player, I think it was Harrison that was playin with alot of tape on his thumb and hand.

Middlesboro was lead by Daniel Griffin with 18 points on 6 three pointers and Blaine Green added 16.Harlan was lead by Harrison with 17. Middlesboro jumped out to an early 25-8 after the first quarter.

The game was at the trojan dome. Ye it suprised it me to, but u cant out shoot a team every night. I think the team needs to work on defense and fundamentals, espicially boxing out. Griffin started the first four games of the seaon but didnt see playing time until the second quarter tonite.

Griffin lead the jackets with 22. Green, Smith and Brown also had double digits on the night. The Jackets suprised me some tonite by having some patients on offense. CUMBERLAND comes to town thursday night. I think this will be a very intersting game. Will the jackets be able to slow down Johnson and Wilson?Anyone know if there point guard is back?(Brock maybe)

Middlesboro had problems finishing games out last year.They lost a close one to Corbin and was up 14 in the fourth. But im still goin to pick the jackets by 12.

I agree the coaching has been horrible at Middlesboro especially when Ed Jones was coach(01-06). I played for him and trust me he had no clue. I dont think we every did a deffensive drill while I was there. The guy won a couple of 3a or 4a state championships when he was coaching in Florida and must of been living in a goldmine of athletes as he coached Stallworth that played at Tennesse a couple of years back. Bill Jones is turning the program around but still has some things to work on.I think the team needs to work on deffense as group and try to stay away from the 2-3 zone.

Middlesboro seemed to be clicking on all cylinders to start the second half and was up by 12 or more. Then pg Antwan Brown got into foul trouble and ending up fouling out in the fourth. The team had trouble bringin the ball up the court without him in the game. I was wondering what the Corbin fans thought but I think the game was poorly officated both ways. Green had a very solid game to go along with a nice dunk. Smith played well also and had a great block(any1 else think it may have been goaltending). C Will harrison also had a block with under 3 seconds to go to make sure the game went into OT before fouling out in the first OT. Corbin will be a very Impresive team when Crawford returns. Anyone know how long he is out for? But i think Middlesboro will suprise a few people this year.

Middlesboro 78 corbin 72 Should be a great game. Middlesboro has the most size the have had years to go along with some talented athletes. I think the team needs to improve defesively. Which has been the problem at Middlesboro the last 5 to 7 years.

I havent seen Bell play this yr. I only listened to parts of the game.Does Zachary usually get that many snaps in a game. I thought Nelson had the starting position. Also how many touches did Christopher get tonite? In the past I remember him as being a go 2 guy.

Antwan Brown. The only thing he lacks is a little meat on his bones.He has great speed with the ball.

I would have to go with Corbin infront of Cumberland from what i saw at the panorama game. But if Cumberland picks back up to they way they were playin in the regional tourney last year they will be hard to beat. I would have to move Clay and Bell out of the top 10. Bell looks to be down this yr. Only having 6 players coming out before the ones they will get from football would be hard to practice with. If Middlesboro will play as a team they will progress tremondsly throughout the season.

Middlesboro beats Evarts. Middlesboro looks to have the most size and best team they have had in a long time. They need to play more team ball. There was too many players taking shots with a defender in their face when they had a teammate wide open. Bell and Cumberland, Bell only had 6 players at the panorama game last night. From what I have heard they have practiced with 6 players since Oct. 15, but they still haven't got their football players. I reckon there is suppose to be 5 to 7 football players playing basketball this year at Bell. Cumberland went deep into there bench, so the score of this game doesnt really reflect that much.
