Pics of the two ladies that set scoring marks tonight.

I agree, the lady lions played hard the whole game. Their pressure defense was tough! Also, let me add this about their coachs. They came over to check on Emily after the game to see if she was ok. A classy thing to do I must say. It was something I really appreciated seeing. Made me a fan of theirs too.

The thing I liked best was the team play. Numerous times Britt drew double teams on the fast break only to hit an open teammate with the pass. Laura made a great pass to a teammate when she had an open layup herself. Lyndsay played great too. Just completely inpressed with all of the girls today. They seemed to play with an extra spring in their step. It was sure a pleasure to watch. Emily was dominate, as the stats show. It was awful to watch her get leg cramps on her night to be crowned King of the 16th region. THere was also a young lady from Elliot Co. that accomplished a scoring feat, 1000 pts. I believe. Not sure what her name was but she played very well also. Congrats.

I was assured by Ms. Queen that she would break the record in front of the home folks. Good enough for me! Should be a celebratory atmosphere.

Any pics from King of the Jungle from the game? I saw it mentioned in an earlier post and I always look forward to seeing pics. Boyd has a nice gym to take pictures in.

Nice post Stinger. Do I detect sour grapes? One thing that IS meaningful about this game is that Rose Hill will be very confident going into the rematch in the districts. Not a good thing at all for BC.

Nice win for Da Hill. They played well in spurts tonight. Did show some nice pressure defense. Would have liked to see them hit the boards a little harder when the ball goes up. Maybe they were saving up for Boyd Co tomorrow.

One reason to vote yes for seeding is it forces the district teams to play each other or forfit your spot in the district. For Rose Hill that could mean that they'll actually have a full slate of games starting next year, and more than just a hand full of home games. Ashland, Boyd Co. and Fairview will have to play them. Hopefully, this will keep some teams from ducking other teams. I for one like to see everyone playing each other.

That No. 44 from Raceland is an awesome player. One of the best performances I've seen this year. Worth the price of admission.

Yeah, I make it to games from time to time. You have to make the files so small to put them on here they lose a lot of quality, so I apoligize for that. That's why I wanted to try this, just to see if I could get the pics to look ok at this reduced size. Looks like some of em do better than others. Oh well, if players and fans like them I guess its ok. If you're in the pictures at least it's cool to be on the board, right?
