Never know which Louisville team is going to show up, but I think they are on the edge of getting in the tourny.
-
This may wear Corbin out for their next game - when will it be?
Corbin will play on Saturday against the winner of Clay Co. & Barbourville.
-
Corbin pulls out a close one that took 4 OT's. Wilson for Corbin must have had at least 40+ points in the game. Bell came ready to play tonight but could not pull off the upset.
-
Good to see West pull out the win. I was not expecting this game to be this close.
-
A crazy game! Listening to it on the radio, looks like Corbin is going to pull it out.

...and I'm pretty sure you have to have a mustache in order to advertise oatmeal.
If eating oatmeal makes me look like that forget it!!!!!:scared:

North Laurel has a very nice ball club. They're fundamental, very well-coached, and Crawford is sensational.
However, they simply do not have the size to compete with Harlan Co.'s frontcourt duo of Carroll and Maggard. And, let's not forget, this is the same Harlan Co. team that reached the regional finals last season in their first year of existence.
Experience and size win out as Harlan Co. defeats a very good North Laurel club in the semi-finals. However, North has had an excellent season that they should certainly be commended for.
How can you say this after North has beaten them twice already this season? I look for North to be playing Clay on Sat. and having a real shot at beating them.

I predict that Bellevue will be open for the third consecutive year
Source?
No Way BIG mistake if thats true... Coach Bo is very, very dedicated to turning that program around. He's already recruiting palyers to come down and scrimmage during open gyms this summer.
Well if he can recruit the right ones he should be able to turn it around!

I'm surprised this thread hasn't been closed. Must be a couple mods on vacation.
Why would it be closed? Because of the KC vs BHS title?

Been doing P90X for about 6 months, don't follow the diet plan at all, just do my best to eat right. I have lost 27 pounds from 230 to 203, 4 sizes down on my belt, 6 pack which I have never had starting to develop and I' m well over 45. I have worked out for years half-hearted, this really works. Doing a workout when I get off this coumpter!

Of the top 3 teams, Clay, North & South... which got the better draw?
I would say North being away from both Clay and South until the finals. Pineville wins their district and faces North right off the bat. Very difficult first game for the Mt. Lions. I look for North and Clay to meet again in the finals with North going to the big dance this time.
-
Clay with the right draw can go a long way next week, they sure play hard.
-
The Black Bears and Bell Co. as well could be a danger to anyone in the region, sounds like a good game.
-
The Raiders look to be on a mission, hope they continue to play this way and get to Rupp so the entire state can see just how good Watts and company are.
-
Broughton really came up huge in the district for Knox Central. Miller played with the desire he seemed to be lacking most of this year in this game after sitting out a big chunk vs LC. Congrats to Coach Evans and KC.
-
Even though South was shooting alot of their shots from the outside they do have a huge man inside so 26 ft attempts to 3 is a bit odd. St. John should get at least 7 or 8 ft himself because of size along. I belive the Regional final will be on Monday not Sat.. Semi-finals on Sat. Look for these two to meet again.26 free throws for Corbin, 15 made.......3 for South, 3 made.......margin of victory for Corbin 1 point.I am no mathemagician, but Corbin got a gift.

I'm sure W"burg would love for this to come about. The 50th would get even tougher to win.How about this:49th-Rockastle, Jackson Co. Clay Co. OBI
50th-SL, NL, Whitley Co, Corbin
51st-Lynn Camp, Knox Central, B'ville, W'burg
52nd-Mboro, Bell, Pineville, Redbird
Move Harlan and Harlan Co. to the 14th.
Or move Corbin to the 51st and W'burg to the 50th.

What about when everyone would bet on Wright back in the 90's and he would lose in the first round of the region or district?
Maybe thats why he said Wright and Denny. Two heads in this case are better than one. For sure when one has THE notebook.

Redhounds in another classic 62 to 59. Then again it may be a non-classic and Hounds roll 78 to 51.

Just because one team was a 3 seed and the other a 2 seed you wouldn't think a 50 point turnaround was an upset? That, to me would be funny stuff. Anyway KC's gym should be packed for the final. No way this was an upset .... are you kidding me? Knox Central was playing at home .... had a healthy Barger back and the better team won and the Panthers were the higher seed. I'm not sure how anyone can say a two seed beating a three seed at home is an upset, and I don't care if Lynn Camp beat Central by 50 points at Lynn Camp. That's some funny stuff right there. -
Not an upset! LC has only beaten KC 2 times since 1963. Getting to the region is a huge win for any team. You should know that from being a coach at LC yourself.
IMO a 25 point turnaround for any team over another is an upset, by the way I said it was an upset not a huge one though, Barger did make a big difference. This is 2010 not 1963 I feel like LC was the better team this year. Personally, I've played alot of games at LC but was never a coach, wish I had of been sometimes though.

Law Abiding Citizen was a good movie, it makes you think a lot until about an hour or so in when you get a little info as to how things are happening then you can start to figure how it is going to play out. I too would have liked to seen some more background info on the main character as to how he was such a bad dude! It seemed like there were some details left out that could of made this movie a lot better.
-
I had seen this earlier on ESPN, I wonder what Pilgrim did, he might have been talking too much about how he use to dominate UK's practices last year :sssh:
-
I would consider it an upset, not a huge one but definitely an upset. Even though Central might have been ranked higher, the Cats beat them by 20 earlier in the year and a 25 point turn around for Central to beat Lynn Camp was IMO a huge win for them. LC just could not seem to use all the talent and size they had this year and translate it into winning games.
This sets up a big rival showdown on Friday for the district championship between Central and B'Ville, this should be a good one!

Nice win for the Terps' over the Dukies.
I'm not sure what the deal is with all the people rushing the court recently, I guess it must be the fun thing to do!
