Trigg County CAT

A great year for boys sports at TCHS!!! I wish the girls would pick it up too! Hopefully the guys can carry the good luck into the regional baseball tourney but there are some good teams in our region! GO CATS!!!!!!

I do believe we have found better than a Curtis Higgins in Coach Burcham! Not to mention, he is from Trigg County! We are more than excited to have him back and to have a home grown basketball coach again! Higgins was great and will be missed but we like our chances with our talent and our new staff! Guess we will find out soon! Can't wait!!!!!!:ylsuper:

I am sure you can see the face masks calls much better on the replay! I was obviously in the trigg county stands and from there it didn't look like it but it's all good! Again, on the OT fumble, my vantange was a lot worse than a replay vantange, I am sure! It's all good, we had every opportunity to win but just didn't get it done! The officiating was pretty even and definately a lot more even than in previous years and again, I am not one to complain or blame refs that much! Doesn't really do any good because u can't change it and we're all human! It was a great game and I am afraid to say, even if we would have won, this week would have likely been the end either way! Mercer is a great team and it will take a near perfect game to beat them but it's always doable! I am just glad I was in the stands for last weeks game because it was probably the best football game I have ever witnessed and I have been to a lot of them! GREAT SEASON TRIGG!!!!! Look out for us next year because we have a lot of people back, if we can just keep our coach in place! Good luck Aces this week! Bring on basketball season!!!!!:banana:

that should say - we beat ourselves in a lot of situations that we had to opportunity to make the outcome different - sorry for the typo

you guys should have been there - it was a great game and a tough loss for our guys - they really had every chance to win the game and to pull ahead by 2 td's several times but just couldn't get it done - i have to say that i am not really one to criticize refs but there were several face masks calls on us and several missed fumble calls - especially the OT fumble but all in all, both teams played well and we beat in a lot of situations - good luck to catholic this week against mercer GREAT SEASON TRIGG!!!!!!!!! (especially since it was supposed to be our rebuilding season - look out the next few years - hehe)

gotcha - doesn't make sense that OC at 8-4 would get a higher seed that trigg at 10-2 - i understand how it works now though - thanks for the insight-:thumb:

can anyone tell me why we have to go to owensboro to play them instead of them having to come to trigg county for once - i just haven't heard and don't know why?

i know the williams kid for caldwell was a loss for them but does anyone realize that we had 5 kids out for the whole game, 3 of which were defensive starters - and we won with our defense really - well, and the one LONG kick by davis - i was and always sit with his mom and there was great joy in our section - he's a hell of a kicker

i sure hope you're right - he's a great coach and well liked here in trigg county - he will be a saint if we can get over the OC hump this weekend but we'll have to wait and see about that - still not a bad year considering we are supposed to be rebuilding - lol

the rumor as of lately is that higgins is leaving trigg county because they wouldn't hire his brother-in-law - don't know how true that is but that's the rumor here in trigg county - I HOPE it isn't true because we have enjoyed him and great success while he has been here
