  1. Bardstown did play Bethlehem if you don't recall. And I don't think it was a blowout. Maybe a 28-0 victory. Good luck next year.
  2. bardstown wins, meets danville in region finals.
  3. Big game in nelson county. bethlehem will we wanting blood. tigers are gonna bring it
  4. predictions of this first round matchup? Bardstown 49 KCD 9 their kicker is good!
  5. i attended, and agree from what i have previously read for the most part. tigers kept it simple and punished the bethlehem line. lots of dive, toss, dive, couple counters. wenquel graves wasn't even called upon much, and he is the tigers biggest weapon. tigers D is the most explosive part of team. they can run down anyone, that is if the runner is lucky enough to get through line. very impressive on wet field. about the field, not as bad as everyone expected. rain had stopped, and it appeared to had drained really well. still muddy, but in my opinion didnt give advantage to either team. didnt seem to slow down bardstown. if anyone gets a chance to look at film, keep eye out for graves' interception late in 2nd quarter. one of the most athletic plays you will see in high school ball.
  6. Does Bethlehem still sit the away team in front of their bleachers? I remember they did that when they first started their program.
  7. Joey does have a great record. I remember getting his 100th win against Western. We literally knocked the lights out that night.
  8. And back to the topic of the game, I will be coming down from Lexington to support my tigers. I wish I could have had a shot at Bethlehem my senior year. Oh well, I think I'll wear my ring, maybe give those boys a little more motivation. Bethlehem is a good team, however they are one dimensional. Bardstown will be keying on Jackson, Stanley, and Simpson, and Koontz will have that defense ready. If they keep up with the tigers offense, they might keep it close. Bardstown by 2+ TDs.
  9. I was a player 98,99,00,01, and was fortunate to have had 4 head coaches on one team. Dave Clark, Bob Blackmon, and Ron Koontz would be head coaches any where else in the state, along with Joey. All are settled in the community and will be there for a long time. David Clark WILL be next head coach.
