Hats off to the Birds and coaching staff! Most predicted a blowout in favor of the home team... But we need to figure out why we are losing close games? I can't remember when we were close and pulled out a victory, but I am old and tired and could be wrong. As I remember we usually punish average teams, but lose (very close ) games consistently. I used to think it was due to playing guys both ways, but the coaches have managed to correct this fatigue problem for the most part. I know the team is in excellent shape throughout the entire year, but can't figure why we can't seem to win the really close games. I.E. Tonight and Elder... Any consulation or criticism of my analogy would be welcome.
