  1. Will you be in Stearns on Tuesday night, Les? Finally get to pit the Raiders against the Redhounds. Should be a dandy.
  2. The Raiders travel back to Lexington to take on the Knights once again. McCreary was within a basket at half last time before the press finally caught up to them. That was also their third game in as many days. How will they fare this time? Can someone keep an updated thread going? I won't be able to attend.
  3. But they were also thumped at West Jessamine.
  4. I believe so. I think being "McCreary Central" holds them back and ballot casters really don't know what to do with them.
  5. I am going to do a rundown of the top 5 or 6 teams in the region that includes their averages in points and points allowed, etc. 1. McCreary Central - Overall: 16-5 - Region: 11-1 - District: 5-0 Points Per Game (overall): 66.9ppg Points Per Game Allowed (overall): 54.0ppg Points Per Game (vs. region): 71.8ppg Points Per Game Allowed (vs. region): 50.0ppg Best Win: Seneca 55-50 Opponents Record Overall: 227-196 2. West Jessamine - Overall: 16-5 - Region: 6-3 - District: 4-1 Points Per Game (overall): 69.1ppg Points Per Game Allowed (overall): 58.0ppg Points Per Game (vs. region): 75.0ppg Points Per Game Allowed (vs. region): 67.7ppg Best Win: Jeffersontown 65-60 Opponents Record Overall: 206-173 3. Wayne County - Overall: 15-6 - Region: 11-3 - District: 2-2 Points Per Game (overall): 63.2ppg Points Per Game Allowed (overall): 55.9ppg Points Per Game (vs. region): 64.8ppg Points Per Game Allowed (vs. region): 55.1ppg Best Win: Greenwood 60-48 Opponents Record Overall: 204-200 4. Boyle County - Overall: 13-6 - Region: 6-2 - District: 4-0 Points Per Game (overall): 57.6ppg Points Per Game Allowed (overall): 50.0ppg Points Per Game (vs. region): 58.8ppg Points Per Game Allowed (vs. region): 52.0ppg Best Win: Lincoln County 53-39 Opponents Record Overall: 171-173 I listed the above four strictly based on region record. You could throw in Lincoln, Mercer, and even Southwestern and it not really skip a beat.
  6. I know we cannot do comparative scores, but McCreary Central beat Seneca at the LexCath tournament and then Seneca beat GRC... If McCreary makes it out of the 12th, they may give a few teams a run for their money.
  7. What do you think about the 12th? They seem to have a pretty good schedule for the tournament. Depending on who wins, they could go a little way - unless I have my regions mixed up and I don't know what team is in what region.
  8. The winner of the 12th, depending on who it is, could do very well in the tournament.
  9. I was about to say the same thing, mad. Are we in Texas?
  10. Central wins going away. Raiders led 24-21 at the half, then led by as many as twenty several times in the second half.
  11. I think Wayne is improving, and W. Jessamine may be improving too. But McCreary has looked very good. Jones finally learned that playing better competition makes you better and upped the schedule the past two seasons.
  12. 63-43 Not much longer left. Raiders sitting their players now.
  13. They have looked like the best team. Past few years, they have looked like one of the best teams with a few others (Lincoln, W. Jessamine). This year, they simply look like the best.
  14. Turnovers are killing the Patriots too.
  15. 55-35 Raiders have nearly sealed this one up. Under six to go.
  16. Yup. 25 points in that quarter. They usually have a spectacular quarter in each game.
  17. Is the region tournament held at Pulaski this season?
