Not tonight or last week due to an injury but he is in the game now....

Maybe they are going to give the Dawgs a break???

I am really starting to believe the Dawgs are on a suicide mission. Never have I seen a team shoot themselves like this one does....

Maybe I shouldn't say that-I'm just going by the guys on the radio....

It's nothing personal to me but I do believe in doing what is right based on ability rather than who you are....

This is Boone's 2nd week out-shoulder injury I think. Shepherd was 12 for 14 last week against Greenup-really impressive start for him. Don't worry though, it won't matter how good he does, they'll take the position away from him soon.

Thought so-just making sure. Cannot for the life of me figure out what the problem is at LC. Shepherd from what I am hearing, is doing a pretty good job but isn't getting much line coverage. Preece needs to stop playing "safe" with him and turn him loose. Runs up the middle aren't working obviously and you can't get alot of 1st downs with those little lateral passes.

Nemo, I'm with you. Most fans like to point at the officials when the game goes wrong for them. But this was without a doubt the most obvious one sided HORRIBLE officiating I have ever witnessed. I'd be suprised if GC had more than 40 yards in penalties. Last count I was given was that the Dawgs had 240??? Give me a break!!! The Dawgs won that game hand down. Lack of leadership as an excuse is getting so old. Doesn't that come from the coaches?? I was appalled that our coaches stood there and took it like they did. Waste to start arguing in the 4th quarter. Coty, Acie, Tyler and of course others played well and Shepherd stepped in the QB position like an upperclassman and ran the team as well or better than it had been all season. The O looked more comfortable with him. No matter how well the Dawgs played though, this game was stolen from them by poor officiating. Anyone have doubts about that, go watch the game film. It is APPALLING!!

LC has to be hungry for a win by now.....

I'm all with you on that one...you can't tackle, you can't win. And I'm sorry, fundamental tackling hasn't been a part of practices here this year. And ABSOLUTELY-jump. yell, scream, whatever its takes to get the attention of your players. These boys will not break if someone raises their voice. It's FOOTBALL. It's ROUGH. It's AGGRESSIVE. You can't take it-don't go out for the team. It's not a knitting class... That's the motivation these kids are missing. It breaks my heart to think that our coaches are more concerned about what parents or administration or whoever will say than they are concerned about a winning program.

I heard he apologized for losing his temper but we all thought it was GREAT!!! That's the Billy of old that inspires the boys. The crowd went nuts cheering Billy on!! Keep it up Coach!!:ylsuper:

I don't know which junior teams you are referring to BUT I do know that the freshman class at LC right now was undefeated for many, many years in while in youth league so BC never beat them....

It was sloppy, but it was a win!!! Congrats to the Dawgs!!

These boys have got to play harder than they have all season and get a win under their belts-they all, after 4 games should be ready to prove they have earned their positions!!! P-burg game was a more positive game for the Dawgs for a while at least and I always say that LC teams have the hardest time putting things behind them and moving on. Instead they carry it the whole game and it brings em down every time. Regardless I will be cheering them on and hoping for a much deserved win!!!
